TITLE: PRESENTATION SKILLS IN I.T.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides strategies to help students to improve their formal oral presentation skills. Organization, presentation style, and pronunciation will be addressed. Presentations are developed through a drafting process and practiced at least twice a week. Individual feedback from the instructor and class participants will be given continually throughout the course.
COURSE OBJECTIVES (DESIRABLE OBJECTIVES)
At the end of this course, the student should be able to:
1. Learn the basics of presentation style.
2. Organize presentations
3. Present in front of the class
4. Learn about the three main types of presentations: narrative, informative, and persuasive.
5. Assess their personal presentation skills.
6. Apply the drafting process to presentations.
7. Use visual support when presenting.
8. Work on pronunciation as it affects easy understanding by the audience.
9. Lead an audience in question and answer sessions.
